High-Quality Music Studio Equipment Portable PA Column Loudspeaker
RCF TT-515 and TT-808 PA Column Array Speaker and Subwoofer System Package:
RCF TT Series – Fundamental Differences
The TT series is a new line of portable speakers from RCF. In many ways, these speakers are a step up from all other portable column arrays we’ve seen to this point. We’d dare say that these could be the last column array setup you’d ever need. Instead of calling the TT-515 and TT-808 a “column array system,” we prefer to call them a series. This is for two reasons – one, the line of speakers will most likely grow over time with new models, and two, the speakers are quite modular (more on that a little later).
The TT series isn’t attempting to be the biggest or the loudest portable column array around. Instead, it’s loaded to the brim with audio clarity and features, all in a footprint that’s pretty hard to believe. For DJs that value portability, flexibility, and audio quality above all else, the TT series is likely the answer. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves – let’s dive a little deeper into these two new speakers.
RCF TT-515 Overview
What sets the TT-515 apart from other column arrays is evident as soon as you lay on it. It’s compact – really compact. So much so that RCF actually markets it as “a 2000-watt speaker that can fit in your palm.” Those 2000 watts head into dual 5″ speaker cones and a substantial 1.75″ compression driver. This little speaker is no slouch, pumping out an impressive 127 dB of sound. Sound leaves the TT-515 in a 100 x 70-degree spread that is rotatable depending on your application.
The TT-515 also sports multiple protections and digital processing features. In particular, the FiRPHASE technology aligns the highs, mids, and lows of the speaker to deliver clearer sound at the listening position. It also has RCF’s proprietary RDNet network, allowing users to monitor and control a multitude of functions remotely. Not only that, but RCF has included its bass motion control system as well, which dynamically monitors the movement of the speaker cones to extract maximum efficiency from the amplifier’s power.
Flexibility, power, and compactness make the TT 515-A ideal for installed and portable professional applications where size and weight are critical factors. This approach combines the advantages of TT+ technology such as controlled dispersion, outstanding clarity and extreme power, multiple flexible rigging accessories, weatherproof protection, and RDNET real-time monitoring and management software with recallable presets. Its transducer configuration pairs two custom-loaded 5-inch cone drivers to a rotatable CMD waveguide surrounding a titanium 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver. Whether it’s used as a compact main system, as fills, or as surrounds in a larger system, TT 515-A is quick to deploy and fast to tune.
A 2000-WATT SPEAKER THAT CAN FIT IN YOUR PALM
The two-channel 2000 W (1000 W RMS) amplifier is small, ultra-silent, and fanless.
Producing a Max SPL of 127 dB is perfect for 3D/immersive sound, nearfield systems, and productions that demand extreme sound quality.
The rotatable 100x70-degree pattern reaches a wide area, perfectly matching the directivity of the woofers.
The internal DSP has a whole range of protections for the transducers and includes special FiRPHASE and BMC processing to achieve coherent distribution of sound without phase distortion and deep, tight bass at any volume.
A LITTLE BOX WITH SUPERPOWERS
The amplifier integrates a low-noise 32-bit DSP circuit, controlled through the RCF proprietary RDNet network to easily handle soft clipping limiters, RMS limits, polarity, amplitude, timing, and equalization.
All the settings, monitoring, and more advanced features are available inside the RDNet Networked Management software. The available control panel on the back adjusts volume, high-pass, and bypass. The regulated power supply guarantees full power from 100 V to 260 V. The amplifier is housed in a unique Vibrostop floating aluminum panel for extra protection during transportation.
BUILT FOR EVERYDAY USE
Use it as a compact and powerful main system or supplement a larger system. The waterproof cabinet is built in high-strength baltic birch plywood coated with black, robust, and scratch-resistant polyurea paint.
Attached to a solid machined aluminum structure at the back, the amplifier heat dissipation is efficient and the cabinet is sturdy and stiff. A strong powder-coated metal grille protects the front, and an acoustically transparent sound foam backing on the inside of the grille ensures protection from dust and humidity.
RIG IT ANYWHERE
The only limit is your imagination. With multiple rigging accessories and the unobtrusive form factor of the cabinet, TT 515-A is suitable for a wide range of configurations including hanging, pole-, truss-, wall- or ceiling-mounting— at any angle in a horizontal or vertical orientation. The rotatable waveguide (and rotatable logo) allows for perfect dispersion control at any position.
The speaker’s rigging is fast and easy using the practical Quick Fit socket to easily install accessories such as the clamp mount, pole mount, and horizontal brackets or using the two M10 threads on top and bottom of the cabinet. You will always find a place for TT 515-A.
A STUNNING SOUND SYSTEM
Pair the TT 515-A with the TT 808-AS subwoofer to extend the low-frequency range and create a powerful full-range main system with an incredibly small footprint. With multiple configuration options, the powerful DSP, and RDNet remote management, there isn't a too-big or too-small venue.

100° X 70° ROTATABLE CONSTANT-DIRECTIVITY WAVEGUIDE
CMD horn that is easily rotatable in the field using only a screwdriver.
PRECISION TRANSDUCERS
Low Frequency
Two 5” cone drivers on a custom-designed phase plug to enhance midrange efficiency and extend horizontal coverage, matching the waveguide dispersion for perfect coverage continuity around the crossover point.
High Frequency
The high-performance 1.75" titanium dome compression driver is fitted on a 100° x 70° rotatable constant-directivity waveguide. This special waveguide and high-frequency transducer design allow excellent control of directional characteristics. In difficult acoustic environments, intelligibility is significantly increased.
BASS MOTION CONTROL
When searching for an extended bass with enhanced performance, RCF engineers found a way to remove the high-pass filter, replacing it with a forward-thinking approach. Introducing BMC (Bass Motion Control), the newly advanced woofer excursion management feature. The speaker equipped with BMC can handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity.
The BMC method works by creating a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the woofer, to generate a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This gives total freedom of signal reproduction to the transducer. When high-pass filters normally protect the woofer motion from becoming destructive but change the phase behavior, the new BMC algorithm breaks conventional rules.
NEW PERSPECTIVE ON LINEARITY
RCF speakers are designed using proprietary and advanced digital FiR technology, conceived to deliver transparent sound, absolute clarity, and perfect imaging to the listener.
The special FiRPHASE filters allow for coherent distribution of sound for all listeners without phase distortions, ensuring minimum latencies in the system.
RCF RDNet
NETWORKED CONTROL AND MUCH MORE
RDNet is a robust management network and control platform for small, medium and large arena-sized sound systems, as well as complex and extended installations.
Based on a proprietary network protocol, RDNet provides intuitive control and monitoring of every connected device/object in the RCF audio system. Each device has DSP to address specific presets or modifications of parameters to single or groups of objects.
A network user can change level, delay, EQ (linear phase FiR as well) and other settings, including advanced subwoofer configurations. RDNet is not only designed for loudspeakers—you can control parameters and routing of multiple RCF devices, such as digital matrixes or amplifiers.

RCF TT-808 Overview
At first glance, the new TT-808 subwoofer looks a little like an old desktop computer tower. When we saw it side by side with the Evox 12 subwoofer, the size difference was massive. To put it into perspective, the TT-808 weighs only 44 lbs. 44lbs for a sub?! That’s unheard of. What’s even crazier, though, is that this tiny sub puts out 129 dB with its dual 8″ woofers. The output-to-size ratio has to be the greatest we’ve ever seen in a DJ subwoofer.
The subwoofer, like the entire series, can be used in a huge variety of applications. Depending on the space available or the aesthetic, you can lay it on its side or use it vertically. There are pole mount sockets available on the side and top, so you can pair it with the TT-515 top in either configuration. They can also be stacked, unlike most portable column arrays. Should you need it, you can stack up to three subwoofers in a cardioid configuration for more directional bass control.
Just like the TT-515, the TT-808 also has RDNet for remote control as well as bass motion control. The wooden cabinet is finished in a durable coating that will resist scratches and stand up to abuse on the road. The powder-coated grille is backed with an acoustically transparent foam that resists both dust and humidity.
TT 808-AS is a compact low-profile high-performance active subwoofer. It features two vented-loaded 8" cone woofers powered by a 1000 Watts two-channel amplifier -one for each woofer- on a Baltic birch plywood cabinet painted with black polyurea and weatherproof treatment. Management and tuning are available via RDNet software or using the two preset buttons, a polarity button, and a variable delay accessible from the back panel.
The cabinet features rubber feet on two sides and two threaded pole-mounts for horizontal and vertical placement. Two stabilizing brackets make the vertical placement stable and firm. TT 808-AS can be used stand-alone, in subwoofer arrays, or as the low-frequency complement for TT 515-A speaker.
LEGENDARY WOOFERS
RCF subwoofers are the first choice of many sound engineers, thanks to the very high SPL levels at very low frequencies, smaller dimensions compared to others in its category.
Self-powered design, RDNet remote control, easy configuration of subwoofer arrays (i.e. cardioid subs), and impressive size/weight to SPL output ratio create an engaging, immersive experience for any audience.
A LITTLE SUB WITH SUPERPOWERS
The amplifier integrates a low-noise 32-bit DSP circuit, controlled through the RCF proprietary RDNet Networked Management software. Internal DSP easily handles soft clipping limiters, RMS limits, polarity, amplitude, delay, and equalization.
All settings, monitoring, and more advanced features, such as the subwoofer array configurator, are available inside RDNet. The rear control panel can be used to adjusts volume, low pass, TT 515-A custom crossover and bypass. The regulated power supply guarantees full power from 100 V to 260 V.
The amplifier is housed in a unique Vibrostop floating aluminum panel for extra protection during transportation. Internal DSP processing includes multiple EQs, delays, crossovers, and a special BMC processing for a coherent distribution of sound without phase distortion and deep, tight bass at any volume.
